Combine your imagination with inspiration and let your creativity flow.

MVPN Art gives our Veterans a way to express what they saw, heard, and experienced during service. Our classes explore new techniques and principles, while our groups allow for their story to be shared.

Healing through Expression

You have the skills

Our art programs provide a safe and supportive environment for Veterans and their families to express themselves through art. We understand that the journey of healing is unique for each individual, and this program is designed to help Veterans explore their emotions and memories in a creative way. Many Veterans don't realize how artistic they can be until they pick up a brush!

Community Collaboration

As with many of our programs, collaboration is imperative. We want to connect the Veterans with other organizations to expand their personal network, fostering organic relationships.

We love partnering with organizations in the community to create Veteran art programs and initiatives. Please contact us today if you'd like more information on collaboration.

Classes and Groups

The art classes we offer allow the Veteran to try something new. This could be learning a new medium, a new technique, or developing a new skill

Our art groups take on more of a peer group aspect. These groups are facilitated by one of our trusted volunteers, and offer more opportunity to discuss the meaning and symbolism behind your creations.

"My mask is called 'To Save a Life'. It depicts as the helmeted side of a flight medic serving to rescue and transport sick, injured, and wounded soldiers and civilians. The white side is mercy mission, filled with hope and survival. Our goal is to expedite transportation within the golden hour to afford the best quality of care when it's most urgent and critical. The tears flowing from the Red Cross imply that not all rescues are successful."
